For companies: vitality, job satisfaction and sustainable employability

Every employer knows that physically and mentally fit employees are important for the organization. People who feel well can contribute to the team and the organization with more focus, energy, and creativity. This can help increase job satisfaction and enjoyment at work and can lead to less absenteeism within the organization. In addition, it plays an important role in the sustainable employability of staff and in strengthening workplace vitality.

Why invest in vitality and sustainable employability?

Healthy and energetic employees:

  • Enjoy their work more and experience greater job satisfaction

  • Are more productive and creative

  • Have a lower risk of absenteeism and sick leave

  • Remain employable for longer

By investing in amplification, building on what is already going well, you are taking a preventive approach to creating a strong and healthy organisation.

Prevention is the best cure

If your employees are currently feeling good mentally and physically, as an employer you naturally want to continue supporting this and perhaps even go the extra mile to help them feel even fitter. This ties in with the principle of amplification: reinforcing what is already going well within an organisation.

How can you provide your employees with ongoing and appropriate support, or even help them feel even fitter, both physically and mentally?

Read on to find out how CAIT can contribute to the vitality, sustainable employability and job satisfaction of your employees and therefore the vitality of your organisation. Or get in touch via the contact form for a free consultation to discuss the possibilities.

How can CAIT help your organisation?

CAIT works with employers who want to focus on the person behind the employee and invest in well-being, long-term employability and job satisfaction. I can contribute to employees’ physical and mental wellbeing in various ways. ‘Action’ is a key concept in my approach, and it doesn’t matter whether that action is small or large.

We don’t just talk about lifestyle; together with the employees, we look directly at what action they can take, big or small. Employees are given the right knowledge, tools and guidance to take home with them, so that it’s not just about that one moment in the office. This contributes to lasting behavioural change and a healthy lifestyle, both at work and outside it.

An appropriate first step and follow-up steps can mean something different for every employee, which is why the employee remains in control. Consequently, no one is told what to do. Depending on the choice from the range of options, I can coach employees in a manner ranging from very accessible to intensive.

The possibilities

Workshops en presentations

Workshops and interactive presentations are an accessible way to introduce employees to lifestyle-related topics and to maintain and/or create awareness. These include themes such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep and finding meaning in life. We also look at the bigger picture, examining how these themes influence one another and other aspects of life.

In both the workshop and the presentation, employees get actively involved and are given the knowledge and tools to take further action even after the workshop or presentation has ended.

CAIT consultation hours

The consultation hour is an accessible way to give your employees the chance to ask questions or discuss lifestyle-related topics. These can include subjects such as exercise, nutrition, stress, sleep or personal fulfilment. It can also focus on behavioural change itself: How do I take the first step and how do I move forward from there?

We often know what is good for us, but it can be difficult to actually put plans into action or make lasting changes. This is where Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) comes in. Using this scientifically proven effective method, we work on mental fitness and flexibility, which are key pillars of vitality and sustainable employability.

ACT helps you to deal flexibly with difficult situations, thoughts and/or emotions (Acceptance) and to continue investing in what is important to you (Commitment). During a consultation, employees can be introduced to ACT and start taking the first steps outside of the consultation.

Individual lifestyle coaching

For some employees, it may be important to receive a little extra support. That is why it is also possible to offer individual lifestyle coaching to your staff. The great thing about this is that you can really go into depth where necessary.

This is not just about transferring knowledge, but also about improving mental well-being, vitality and long-term employability through ACT and focused lifestyle coaching.

Customised collaboration

I am happy to explore the various options for supporting your organisation and its staff in the areas of physical and mental fitness, vitality and job satisfaction. That is why we also offer the option of putting together a bespoke package, combining different elements whilst taking on board ideas from the organisation and/or its employees.

From a single presentation to a long-term partnership: together, we look at the needs of your organisation and how we can best contribute to healthy, energetic and sustainably employable staff.

  • Lifestyle coaching is suitable for both small and large organisations across various sectors. It is particularly beneficial for companies wishing to invest in employee well-being, health and long-term employability.

  • Motivation arises when employees feel in control and are able to take small, achievable steps. Practical guidance and personal attention lower the barrier to actually taking action.

  • A workshop focuses on raising awareness and sharing knowledge within a group setting, whilst individual coaching goes into greater depth regarding personal goals and behavioural change. Both approaches complement each other well within a vitality programme.
